Summary

The TEEP working group session covered significant progress on the TEEP Architecture document, which has resolved AD review comments and is now ready to advance. The IETF 114 Hackathon was highly productive, leading to numerous updates and clarifications in the TEEP Protocol Specification, particularly concerning attestation handling, component identification, TE property reporting, and cipher suite negotiation. Many protocol issues were resolved, with implementers actively participating. A new informational draft on TEEP Use Cases for Confidential Computing in Networks was presented and received strong support for adoption, with a recommendation to broaden its scope to include other cloud-based "no untrusted application" scenarios. Ongoing work includes addressing remaining protocol specification issues and coordinating with related working groups like RATS and SUIT.
